Mesolift and meso hair

What is mesolift?

Mesolift is a mesotherapy technique involving the injection of moisturising and revitalising active ingredients into the dermis.
It is a skin maintenance treatment that provides a permanent glow, rather than a wrinkle-filling technique.
MesoHAIR is a mesotherapy technique applied to the scalp.

What are the benefits of mesotherapy?

Mesolift essentially has a moisturising and antioxidant action. The benefits depend on the substances injected, the depth of injection and the frequency of sessions. A mixture of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, trace elements, minerals and vitamins is used.
As I have an inter-university diploma in mesotherapy, I personally create the mixtures, adapting them to the patient’s needs. The treatment is tailor-made to guarantee the best possible results.
The products used are:
Hyaluronic acid: for its moisturising and regenerating properties.
♦ Vitamins: for stimulation of cellular functions.
♦ Minerals: for ionic balance.
♦ Amino acids: for protein synthesis.
♦ Coenzymes: for skin metabolism.
♦ Nucleic acids: for cellular exchange.
♦ Anti-oxidants: to neutralise free radicals.
♦ Actives targeting hair growth for scalp mesotherapy (mesocheveux).

The indications for mesolift

The indications are as follows:
♦ The radiance boost: radiant, luminous skin is the wish of many women. Mesolift is particularly indicated for dull, dehydrated skin.
♦ Skin rejuvenation: this effect is transitory, several sessions are needed to maintain it. The skin is more hydrated, toned and even.
♦ Skin smoothing: skin hydration improves superficial fine lines.
♦ Baldness and brittle hair.

Any area of the body can be treated, but the most frequent requests are for the face, neck, décolleté and hands.

Procedure for a mesotherapy session

The injections are carried out on clean, disinfected skin.
I use a mesotherapy gun for the patient’s comfort (painless injections thanks to the gun) and to increase the quality of the treatment (the gun can carry out around 200 injections per minute). Two main injection depths are used in aesthetic medicine:♦ Intra-epidermal: the product is injected one millimetre deep. The targeted result is significant superficial hydration.
♦ Superficial dermal: 0.1ml of product is injected 2 millimetres deep, transient papules form. The aim is to smooth the skin.

Depending on the quality of the skin, different protocols will be proposed.
For some patients, two or three sessions at three-week intervals will suffice, while others will require six sessions at three-week intervals.
A maintenance session two or three times a year is also part of the protocol.

I always recommend combining a skinbooster injection or a PRXT33 peel to work on skin texture and guarantee deep, long-lasting hydration.

Results and follow-up

The results of the mesolift are visible the next day. The skin is more luminous, plump and hydrated. To maintain the results, the sessions should be repeated according to the suggested protocol.
For the hair, the results are visible after a few months, as the hair cycle is fairly long. The hair is shiny, thicker, less damaged and hair loss is reduced.

After the session, a slight redness and a feeling of tightness persist for a few hours.
Make-up and sport are not recommended immediately after the session, but are possible the following day.
The patient is asked not to apply creams or wash her face for twelve hours after the session.
